A Puff of Dust… A Little Pile of Dirt.

Have you ever thought that if God wanted to… in less than a blink of an eye HE could turn you into a “Puff of Dust”… or a little “Pile of Dirt”?? If HE was like the judges on Earth, most likely, we would all be no more than a “Puff of Dust.” But, in HIS incredible Mercy, HE puts up with our awfulness, our rejection of HIM, our lies, our crimes, our Unbelief in HIM, our Unbelief in HIS Rules and Regulations, our abuse of other people, ourselves, and HIS animals, as well as all the other things we do that are NOT Godly.

Science backs up the Creation of mankind out of “dirt.” Science tells us that we are all just a little “pile of dirt” and some water. That’s it… just a pile of dirt and some water. Science tells us the human body is made of dirt, or more specifically, the same components as soil. The human body is made up of 11 elements, 99% of which are oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus, and 0.85% of which are potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. Science tells us that 70% of the human body is water, and cells are made of organic compounds like carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.

Science has verified God’s explanation of HIS act of creating “man,” stating: “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7. What makes our pile of dirt and water able to function as a human being is the mystery called “the breath of life.”

Many people also often use the quote, “…ashes to ashes, dust to dust,” referring to the fact that “man” was created out of plain old “dirt.” God again verifies that “man” is made out of “dust” stating in Genesis 3:19: “By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return”.

Science verifies the FACT that “man” – human kind – is made from plain, old dirt and water. God tells us we are made up of plain, old dirt and water. More witness testimony can be found in the Book of Job 33:4, where we find the statement, “,,,The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” God tells us in HIS Word that the “Pile of Dirt” known as “man” is able to function beyond just being a pile of dust or dirt because HE breathed the breath of Life into our “Pile of Dirt” and Whoo-hoo!! we started walking and talking.

Guess Darwin’s theory of evolution goes out the door with irrefutable evidence from Science, personal testimony, and God’s Word. We will discuss the “process” by which a “kind” evolves over time into a “species,” and then further refined into a “breed” in another article. But for now, just know that the progression of a kind developing a species, and a species further developing into a breed can be understood through the processes of speciation, evolution, and selective breeding:

Now, back to our topic of “dust” or “dirt”. God states in Genesis 3:14, “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all the cattle, And more than any animal of the field; On your belly you shall go, And dust you shall eat All the days of your life.” Many people and “religion” teaches that this phrase, pronounced by Almighty God upon the Serpent, was a curse upon satan, signifying he is a defeated enemy, and is a degradation of the serpent for allowing itself to be used of the devil. People often explain or define this statement as cursing the serpent to crawl on the ground and eat dust is a constant reminder that satan is already defeated.

But, have you ever considered what Genesis 3:14 actually means, when God says, “Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all the cattle, And more than any animal of the field; On your belly you shall go, And dust you shall eat All the days of your life.” Science proves that actual “serpents” or “snakes” do NOT eat “dirt” or “dust” but are actually carnivorous, meaning they are meat-eaters, and they eat a wide variety of small mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians, insects, eggs, and some of the larger varieties have been known to eat humans and other larger mammals. So, WHY did God state that the “serpent” would eat “dust” (dirt) all the days of its life? God KNEW that the snakes and serpents did NOT eat “dust” or “dirt”… so, WHAT was God actually referring to?

Okay… think! It is proven, Man is made of “dirt,” or “dust.” So, in cursing the serpent to EAT “dust” all the days of its life, He is not only verifying that the snake or serpent eats “meat” in the natural realm, BUT… HE verified the spiritual battle between “mankind” and satan, and his minions, who reside in the spiritual realm. It could be said that Genesis 3:14 could actually be stated, “…And “mankind” – the “dust” of the earth – meaning “meat” – you will EAT all the days of your life.” God was speaking not only of how things would operate in the “natural” or “physical” realm with snakes or serpents being carnivorous meat-eaters, but also how things would operate in the spiritual realm where satan feeds on our flesh – controls our minds, inflicts diseases upon us, and ultimately works to kill, steal, and destroy us physically and spiritually, as well.

Let’s look at the next statement God makes in Genesis 3:15, where God then defines the ongoing “spiritual battle” between “mankind” and the demonic spirits: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” From this moment forward in time it was “gloves-off” in the spirit realm between mankind and satan, his evil demons and evil spirits.

So, if there is anyone out there who claims they “believe” in God, or Jesus, or Yeshua, or states they are a “Christian” and they do NOT “believe” that the Devil is real, that demons are real, that evil spirits are real, or that there is a REAL spiritual battle going on 24/7, that person does NOT truly BELIEVE God Almighty… it is impossible to BELIEVE the One True God and NOT BELIEVE in the reality of the demonic realm, and the reality of Spiritual Warfare.

The Apostle Paul wrote to the people of Ephesus, in the Book of Ephesians 6:10-18, especially defining this spiritual battle in Ephesians 6:12, stating: ” For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.” AMP.   

James tells us in James 4:7, “Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil and he WILL flee from you.”  Timothy tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” Once again, the real evidence, witness testimony, and God’s Word tells us that the battle is REAL, ongoing 24/7, and none of us are immune from participation.

As long as we are living and breathing on Planet Earth, we ARE targeted in the spiritual battle that rages in the spirit realm. For the most part, RELIGION has FAILED to equip the Children of Almighty God to be victorious in the battle. The FAILURE of the Church as a whole is evidenced throughout the world by people claiming to KNOW the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, but who suffer all sorts of physical diseases, maladies, addictions of all kinds, and who engage in lying, stealing, murder, pornography, and who have NO CLUE how to war against the devil and his demons, let alone have Victory over them! Truth be told, most of the “Church” is afraid to acknowledge the reality of the devil or demons, as if their ignoring this reality will “make it go away,” or will “keep them safe,” or will keep them from having to engage. The problem is, we are ALL called to STAND against the demonic! We are ALL called to wage war against the demonic. So, WHY are the people who claim they KNOW the Lord NOT stopping the devil in his tracks?

We have already been given ALL authority and power over satan and his cohorts  Luke shares what God states: “Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.” Luke 10:19.  Matthew shares, “Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority and power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.” Matthew 10:1.   

So WHY are people NOT engaging? Short answer: They have been lied to and led down the primrose path!  Long Answer: They have made decisions to believe the lies and untruths told them by Pastors, Preachers, Priests, and lay people who have NO real experience in the spirit realm, have little to no real understanding of Spiritual Warfare, and who have continuously fostered the lie that there is NO “war” going on.  Their excuse?  “If I preach or teach about the devil, my congregation will leave!”

Pastors, Preachers, Priests, and others who teach – IF you are truly called by God and appointed by God to your position, YOU have a duty and responsibility, before God – Himself – to teach the people and properly equip them so they can STAND AGAINST THE WILES OF THE DEVIL!  IF you are NOT doing this, then you need to start, or you need to remove yourself from your position and let someone else take over – who is NOT afraid of losing the congregation because of telling and teaching the TRUTH.
